Our scholarships are our mission in action.
NBEFC exists to raise the standard of coaching and to put that standard within reach of the people who will do the most good with it. Each quarter, we set aside a limited number of scholarships to invest in coaches whose work will change lives. This is not a discount. It is a commitment we are proud of.

Board certification raises the quality and the credibility of executive function coaching, and we want as many capable coaches as possible to reach it. Cost should not be the reason a committed, talented coach never earns the credential their clients deserve.
So we made our scholarships a permanent part of how NBEFC operates. They are funded by the Board itself, awarded to selected candidates each quarter, and built to widen the path to certification without lowering the bar to earn it.
Our founder and board members share one belief: that we should help as many capable coaches as we possibly can. These scholarships are how we live that belief, by investing in the people who will carry this work the furthest.

Every applicant is considered for an Impact Award. Those who wish to be considered for the Need-Based Scholarship complete an optional section of the application.
Granted to applicants selected for the impact we believe they will have in the field once Board Certified. Every applicant is considered, and the award recognizes the difference their work will make.
Granted to a smaller number of selected applicants who demonstrate financial need, so that cost is one less barrier between a dedicated coach and the credential.
Selected, Limited, and Earned
- Scholarships are competitive and limited. We grant a set number each quarter. Most candidates enroll at full tuition, and scholarships are reserved for selected applicants, which is what makes them meaningful.
- They are earned through your application. You tell us about the impact you intend to have and, if you wish, your need. We select based on what you share, not on a first-come basis.
- Every NBEFC program is eligible. Whichever certification you are pursuing, you are welcome to apply.
- Scholarships are time-limited once offered. If you are selected, an Impact Award is claimed within 48 hours and a Scholarship within 15 days, so that a scholarship you do not use returns to another qualified candidate.
