Give Teachers EF Initiative

Free executive function support for teachers, counselors, and school staff nationwide. Practical tools to reduce overwhelm and support your wellbeing.

100% Free — No Fees, No Obligations

The Give Teachers EF Initiative is a nationwide project created by the National Board of Executive Function Certification to support teachers, special educators, counselors, and school staff with practical executive function strategies they can use in their own professional and personal life.

Teaching places heavy demands on planning, organization, attention, emotional regulation, and adaptability. These are executive function skills, yet most educators never receive direct training in how to strengthen them for themselves.

This initiative fills that gap by giving educators simple, realistic tools that reduce overwhelm and support daily wellbeing.

Why This Matters

Educators carry significant cognitive and emotional load each day

Lesson planning, classroom management, behavior responses, family communication, and constant decision making all rely on executive function. When these systems become overloaded, teachers experience stress, fatigue, and a sense of falling behind.

Stay Calmer Under Pressure

Learn stress regulation strategies you can use during the school day to maintain composure and clarity.

Organize with More Clarity

Simple planning and organization routines that help you prioritize tasks and reduce mental clutter.

Reduce Decision Fatigue

Tools for managing the hundreds of decisions you make daily without burning out.

Improve Emotional Regulation

Strategies to respond to challenging situations with patience and professionalism.

Healthier Work-Life Boundaries

Maintain boundaries that protect your personal time and prevent teacher burnout.

Bring More to the Classroom

When you feel confident and steady, you show up better for your students and colleagues.

Supporting Teacher Wellbeing Supports Everyone

When educators feel supported, students benefit. Families benefit. Entire school communities benefit.
