The National Board of Executive Function Certification (NBEFC™) offers 150+ hours of training and preparation aligned with the 150-question national examination. This comprehensive training pathway is designed and administered by NBEFC™ to ensure full alignment with national standards and core competencies in executive function education and coaching.
In addition to NBEFC’s direct training track, the Board recognizes select educational programs whose domains of study appear consistent with the professional competencies measured by the NBEFC™ Certification Examination.
While these programs are not formally affiliated with NBEFC™, and recognition does not guarantee full curriculum alignment, they reflect a shared commitment to evidence-based education and ethical practice in the field of executive function and ADHD coaching.
Graduates of these programs are eligible to apply to sit for the NBEFC™ Certification Examination through the Alternative Pathway, provided their prior certification is verified and approved by the Board.
